These types are usually dependent upon their attitude, way of talking and more importantly, their behavior towards a candidate during the entire interview session. Usually, interviews are conducted through a panel with more than one interviewer, to analyse the significance of the candidate for the organization. Such panel comprises of interviewers with specific USPs.

  • Friendly interviewer- You would have often come across the interviewers who try to make you feel comfortable in your seat. Such interviewers tend to break the ice of nervousness and ease the atmosphere to bring out the real you.

  • Rude interviewer- Some of the interviewers in a panel may appear to you as rude because of the way they behave or their body language speaks. It is vital to stay calm because such interviewers may have been added to the panel deliberately to judge your patience.

  • Arguing interviewer with conflicting views- In many judging panels, an interviewer with argumentative behavior or someone who will always counter your views, may be added intentionally to see how well you manage the discussion and stay transparent on your point of view.

  • Observer- In a few interview panels, there are observers who do not talk much. It is important to be cautious of such interviewers, because even though they do not talk much, but observe your behavior, attitude, body language and confidence throughout the interview session.
